KNX is efficient, stable, and high-quality. There are no restrictions, just various possibilities.
In May 1995, the three major European bus protocols EIB, BatiBus and EHSA merged to form the Konnex Association, and the KNX protocol was proposed. The agreement is based on EIB, takes into account the physical layer specifications of BatiBus and EHSA, and absorbs the advantages of configuration modes in BatiBus and EHSA, and provides a complete solution for home and building automation.
The KNX bus is a system independent of manufacturers and application areas. Through all the bus devices connected to the KNX medium (these mediums include twisted pair, radio frequency, power line or IP/Ethernet), they can exchange information. The bus device can be a sensor or an actuator, used to control building management devices such as: lighting, shading/blinds, security systems, energy management, air conditioning systems, heating, fresh air, signal and monitoring systems, service interfaces and building control systems, Remote control, video/audio control, etc. All these functions can be controlled, monitored and sent through a unified system without the need for an additional control center.

KNX has become the national standardized guiding technical document of "HBES Technical Specification-House and Building Control". Internationalization is the key to KNX's success. KNX can realize the interconnection of various devices of different brands, KNX can also be integrated with other automation systems.
